I am getting married in Summer 2012 in Memphis TN. Our wedding is going to be "southern themed", with our colors as orange and yellow. I would like to use dafodils into my decorations but I do not know what other flowers to use. Any other cool decoration ideas and/or pictures would be nice too!!

Blackish green jelly stuff on pear tree and ground?

There is a black green jelly substance on our pear tree not at the base but on the first limbs, I thought it was a fruit tree fungus but today we found it on the ground probably a hundred feet or more away where I have several lilies and other flowers planted. Does anyone have an idea? Oh and my pear tree is basically dead now, I have never seen anything like this, It literally looks like blobs of black/green/purple mucous gel stuff.

Daily driver, first car, all seem about equal. Subaru WRX (5 door), Mazdaspeed3, Hyundai Genesis 2.0T, Honda Civic Si (4 door), Sentra SE-R Spec V or any other performance "economy" car. I think you get what I mean lol. I know Subaru interiors are crap and it seems like they are having a knock issue with highish milage. I like the 6spd with the Mazda Hyundai and Civic. Not sure if the Nissan has that but I don't really like Nissan due to experience with them. I like Subaru awd. Im leaning towards the Mazda because of experience, bang for buck, fwd (rather than rwd from hyundai), and practicality (I must drive through snow and carry at least 3 passengers with 2 bags each (for swimming and school lol) Opinions?

I think the WRX would be a good choice. Its reliable, and safe. Plus it has AWD. You should also look at the Subaru Forester. It depends what you want. A car or SUV or crosover. And do you want a fast car or you dont care. Do u want car with good gas mileage?

What engines could be swapped with 1999 Pontiac Grand Am for more speed and AWD? READ DETAILS BEFORE ANSWERING?

i'm looking to do an engine swap to gain more horsepower/speed. i'm a bit new with doing work on cars, tuning cars, and a bit of racing cars. i'm looking to take my all stock 1999 Pontiac Grand Am se and put a stronger/faster engine in it. my thoughts are for something where i could switch to AWD. the Subaru Impreza WRX STI engine and transmission comes to mind first for me. i'm looking to drag or street race my car. any ideas/recommendations/advice/etc.for a high top speed/acceleration would be greatly appreciated. i know Grand Am's aren't exactly a "top dog" in the racing/tuning world, but i'm looking for mine to set a new standard with mine. OTHER NOTES/IDEAS: i have removed my backseats as a start towards reducing weight. swap out exhaust with a 1999 Grand Am GT for the 4 pipes instead of 2. add a Flowmaster 80 or Borla(i need to research it more) exhaust kit. then with whatever engine i end up getting to replace my current one, adding a twin turbo/supercharger/turbo(whatever fits). lowering the suspension. new higher performance brakes. I have already been told that i would need a new "chip" (ECU) for the new engine along with new gages to keep up with the new gear.

How many miles is TOO much to start modding a vehicle?

I own a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gt (5-speed) with currently 94,9xxx miles. I like the car a lot for its looks and its pretty quick out of the box. After asking some other 3g owners they say bolt on's have little to no effect on the cars performance, they say going n/a would be the best way to go. But before dropping 3k for RIPP mods supercharger I'd need to seriously consider if my car has too many miles for it to be worth it.( I prefer S/c over T/c because I hear the v6's have terrible wheel spin if you put a turbo on it) My guess is the car would have around over 100k miles before I'm financially stable to afford the kit. Many say that I should just sell my car and buy a WRX or SRT-4 but for how much I paid for the car + plus the kit It would be around the same price for a used car with around 100k miles and the 3g would be faster than both of those stock. I hope with the SC kit I can be around atleast 280 hp. So what do you think? Good idea or just a money pit that is a very bad investment?

My zucchini flowers died before they opened up for pollination?

Trying to grow zucchinis in my apartment where the balcony allows enough sunlight coming in. The plant was fine and it started flowering a bit later, but two flowers were able to reach to certain size then they died before they could open up for pollination.... Just don't know why. My car ac is not cold at all!?

i have a 2003 subaru wrx and it had a leak for the longest time that never got taken care of. now i finally fixed it(after a year or so) and the ac doesnt blow cold. there is no leak 100% sure, the relay is working properly, i reset the ecu to see if made a difference and the compressor is moving at full speed. i fell the noise of the compressor and feel how it takes power from the engine when i am inside of the car, but the air is barely less warm than the outside temperature. i ran out of ideas, please help. thanks!

Rough idle startup?? help!?

its a 2006 subaru impreza wrx Sti. the idle struggles during warm startups. basically the idle stays/dips at 0 and the car shakes/feels like it almost stalls for about 5 seconds then goes up to normal. also sometimes the car feels like it jolts when im accelerating. there is no check engine lights and ive brought it to over 8 mechanic shops and none of them knows whats wrong. they all say "drive on it until it gets worse" but im sorry i dont want to get stranded one night. other shops had me replace the entire fuel pump/filter/selinoid/relay/etc, spark plugs, new key/chip for the immobilizer, and clean out the maf sensor/throttle body etc. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I was reading about skin fungi since my horse as a mild case of dry skin and some fungus on her chest. my neighbours are currently quite unwell, they are both mentally and physically retarded. They have a lot of black mould on their walls. Pretty easy if you follow the instructions. Just to let you know though, you will gain very little from an aftermarket intake kit on your car. If you look at the one you have, it gets air from a scoop on the front of the engine bay so it's actually a very efficient cold air system from the factory. An after market unit will just sound different.

I am really sick of people on here putting down people that are asking serious questions. This is your marriage and your daughter that your talking about, there is no need to be rude to you. Clearly you are upset and I know exactly what your going through...are you sure your not married to my husband too lol ....seriously though I go through the exact same thing you are going through except I have too boys one will be 2 in a couple months and the other is 3, everytime my husband and I fight he threatens me with the same thing. So eventually we split up and I'll be honest at first it was extremely hard and then we started talking about everything that hurt me and everything that hurt him until we sorted things out. But I'm not saying that you should leave him. We stayed seperated for about 2 months and then I moved back in some cases it works but in other cases it could get worse and then your by yourself. So it is entirely up to you what you do but I would sit down and write him a letter or write a few things down and maybe even get a babysitter so that the 2 of you can talk things out. People have to realize it gets old at least for me its the same thing everyday . In my opinion I do everything except work but I only quit my job upon his request. But who does everything else you do. He needs to realize that you are what is holding your lives together. But I would definitly talk to him and see how it goes. White spots from tanning? Please answer?

Well Ive had these white spots on my legs for probably over a year now. And i never really noticed them until a few months ago. I heard it could be tinea versicolor which is a skin fungus. I use to tan but i quit due to the fact of the little white spots. I heard Selsun Blue worked for some people so i used it! But they havent went away! I've also used athletes foot cream. Those were some medicines people told me to use. What should I do?! I want these spots gone? Anybody know any other lotions I could use? Can regular doctors treat you with this? The only dermatologist we have around here is like 2 hours away so I dont have no way to go see one.

Hello, my conure which is around 11 months old! i got him like a week ago from a previous owner .the problem is he is hungry and i can see him beg for food yet he refuses to eat everything!! i gave him pellets, mix seeds, sun flower seeds, veggies and fruits! he doesn't touch anything but he does force him self to eat some sunflower seeds!! but for a small portion! so he does not eat and he drinks a lot of water which i think its the reason behind little amounts of small droppings (little of separated feces, Lots of urine mixed with the urates)...i cant contact his previous owner so that i could ask him what his diet was!! ... so Please help!! what should i do!?

When I step on them they make a light crunching noise and later turn a mustard color with what looks like spores or something on the inside. Any ideas to what they might be? I would honestly cut your losses and get an OEM grade clutch put in. I say this not only because the clutch is garbage but your tranny is on the weaker side and a grippier clutch is a great way to bust some gears. It's cheaper to replace the clutch than the gears.

Questioning my doctor's expertise, can anyone help?

Today I went for a physical with my family doctor. He's a good doctor in the sense that he's compassionate and listens instead of rushing me out the door, but I feel that sometimes he dismisses questions that I have claiming "that's just the way you are" and things like that when I have serious concerns, and it frustrates me. For example, I was telling him that I've been having numbness in my legs pretty frequently lately and it feels like I may have a circulation problem. He looked concerned at first and then felt my legs asking if I felt any pain, and when I said no he said "Well I don't see that it's an issue then". Also, I have these very prominent white spots all over my arms and legs. I've heard that it could be either a pigment deficiency or some type of fungus, and when I asked him he just looked at it and said "no, that's just the way you are". Am I asking stupid questions or something? I feel like he's treating me like a hypochondriac when I hardly even go to the doctor. Should I listen to him and dismiss it or get a second opinion? He won't send me to a dermatologist for the white spots. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

2002 WRX AMR T60R Bolt-On Turbo?

You'll need a built block at the minimum engine wise. A built 2.5 liter would be better with a turbo that size and then you'll need to make some modifications to the heads so they mate properly. You will also need a built transmission or a 6 speed swap because there is no way your tranny will last long with that kind of torque. Then you need injectors, fuel pump, bigger intercooler, intake, turbo back exhaust, engine management and a good tuner. Must be nice to have $15,000 to $20,000 laying around

I would go with the FPV F6 it has 4doors. It will be a better for tuning later it has a turbo. F6 has 280kw. Monaro's V8, I assume were only ever 225kw-245kw at the engine from what I remember. If you mean the XR6 turbo yes also same power. Take both for a drive and see which one you like better.

My fish have a disease? ?

Hi everyone, I have two baby oscars that are new to my home and are in a ten gallon tank for the week, they both suddenly got some sort of disease and I think its fungus but im not sure. It looks like white tears in the skin or even as if he is (balding) like colorless spots or a faint white hue. My truck is literally falling apart. I am a mechanic and just in parts to fix it is going to be about 500 dollars and that's only half of the problems needed to be fixed on the vehicle. There's still a bunch of other stuff to fix and will cost quite a bit more as well. I was thinking about getting a newer car, but the thing is I'm only going the be in this country for the next year and then I'm moving the Europe. My options I'm considering are few and I really don't know what the hell to do. I was thinking about picking up a lease for the next year or buying a used car and having someone else pick up the payments on it when I leave. Where can I find leases to pick up? Can you buy a used car and do that? I am picky about the newer make and model that I want (2005 or a little newer wrx sti) and I really do not know what to do. I already pay my phone bill, school loans, and 280 -300 dollars a month in gas isn't helping with the truck that I have. That's why I thought getting a newer car and spending less money on gas will kinda cancel out the monthly payment on the newer car and it would be more reliable than the truck I already have. I could sell the truck I have for around 2500 to 3000 and use that money towards the newer car if I fix everything because I really don't want it anymore its an old pain in the *** gas guzzler. And suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Car shuts off after turning it on?

2006 subaru impreza wrx sti with about 49k miles. no check engine lights. when i turn on the car, the rpm dips super low and the car shuts off. i could turn on the car and gas it so the rpm stays high for about 10 seconds then the car will idle and drive perfectly fine.the only issue is during the start up. any ideas of whats wrong? any advice will help. thakns.

Swapping in a long block into my 2000 Subaru Impreza RS?

My uncle had this 2000 Subaru impreza RS and he bought a brand new wrx. He didn't know what to do with it so he gave it to me. I want to put a new engine into it and i want to go with a long block because i don't want to deal with the requirements that a short block needs. I am wondering what kind of engine, what year engine, and i am trying to go with either a wrx or sti engine. What would be required besides a wiring harness and a new ecu ? If you could answer all my questions and give me some advice and more information. I would much appreciate it!

Been thinking a lot lately.?

So yea as the title tells you I have been thinking a lot. Ever since I was very little I have been wondering what my purpose is in life. I have a knack for art but it seems everyone wants to tell me I will be poor and starving. I know that is my future and I honestly do not care; I make art because I love it not because I want to be rich or have any sort of social status. But lately I have lost my love for creating an drawing and it feels like i'm fading away... I have no ambition and have been sleeping all day because my college classes are over and I don't have may responsibilities. Everything around me seems to not have meaning to me. I see the world as a cold dark place as of late because many of my friends I had have all abandoned me it feels like. I contact them every time I get the chance but I never get a reply from anyone. They could just be too busy with their lives, I miss them a lot because I used to hang out with them all the time. Just yesterday my last friend Jon who lived near where finally moved away to Santa Monica and is now 400 miles away. It broke my heart a bit because I knew I would never see nor talk to him again. I know that people come in and out of your life but all I have been seeing is people leaving and no one coming into mine. Sometimes I think I would be happier if i needed no one... but it is my nature to like having people around me that I can enjoy fun experiences with. I guess living in a highway town every man is a solitary man in the end since nothing ever happens here. I feel the cold grip of loneliness at my heart; mind you i have dealt with loosing people around me my whole life but it still doesn't make things easier. I have never had a romance life, mostly because women see me as a kindhearted goofball and a shoulder to cry on. But I digress it has never bothered me one bit but as I have been getting older i find myself wondering what is this emotion called 'love' and how it must feel; others say it the most wonderful thing ever to experience with another human being. I have never really felt it except with my family but it ain't exactly feel good emotion. I would call it more like tolerance than love. As time has gone by and feeling myself disappear with every passing day I feel like I am going cold inside. Been having suicidal thoughts because I don't really have a purpose or anything of great importance to accomplish here in this so called existence. I've grown tired of being here, I always said I would never want to live past 30 but now I understand why. I sensed innately that I was truly alone and my friends were merely superficial and just liked to feed off my positive vibes. I keep getting told to get a girlfriend too but goddamn it I don't want one. Simply because I know they wont really love me or care about me unless I have money... that is why my mom and dad got divorced and I had to live with a bat **** crazy ***** who was obsessed with paper printed green and possessions. I have lost my faith in the human race as well seeing all the bullshit politics, wars, disagreements over nothing, and etc. I do not want to be here because I know we are going to destroy ourselves due to all this **** but no one seems to get mad enough to start knocking off the people causing it. If life is really all flowers and sunshine that makes everyone **** rainbows daily as I have heard from people who say you shouldn't commit suicide over things like love, life, and etc. Then why do people have feelings of nothingness in this world and want to end it all? Because I have been considering taking out the ye olde 12 gauge and going out the way Kurt Cobain did because I am tired of these feelings that I am fading away and loosing interest in what I loved most... I am not the same person I was a year ago and this crisis of identity and purpose collide to make an unstable pool of volatile emotions. I can't find a reason to keep moving forward in a life where motivation is depleted in me. If anyone has a good reason why I should live and put up with this any more by all me type away. But I should have you know religious answers don't work on me because I find anything that tries to answer the unknown is all lies. If someone actually bothered to sift through this rant I salute you.

I finallly got the money for a wrx and i found a really good deal on a 2011 for a reasonable cost becuase of certain and easy fix conditions. Whats better a 2007 or 2011 wrx and are there any aftermarket parts for the 2011 including a body kit? i love both body styles of the cars so im not sure. There is help at your local foot doctor. I had that toe fungus for years, it spread to most of my toes. They looked awful, then the foot doctor prescribed a medication for 90 days. After that I had to get a liver function blood test, (part of the procedure). At this point he could see new nail growth on my big toes, so he prescribed another 90 days and a liver function test. Now there was lots of new growth and the fungus was killed. Now, I can go barefoot and not be embarrassed. I recommend you pursue your problem the same way. Nothing else worked for me and I had tried them all.

Does it sound like I take care of my rabbits properly?

I think you're taking car of your rabbits just fine. You're giving them time to roam, cleaning their cages, giving them proper food, and interacting with them. Ive seen people house their rabbits in SUPER small cages and not clean it out regularly like they should. The only thing I would add is that if it is hot outside, put a frozen water bottle in the cage so the rabbits can lay on it. But overall good job:)

I have 4 - 5 inch goldfish (Fancy-type). They are in a 50 gallon tank. I don't have a hospital tank, in case any get sick. Up to now, I have had to treat the entire tank for illnesses. How many gallons should a hospital tank be for 4 - 5 inch Goldfish? How powerful of a filter should be on it? Once all signs of illness are gone, say Fungus for instance, do you put the goldfish back in main tank right away, or wait a few more days, or what? (NOTE: None are ill at this time.) Also, how do you get the hospital tank cycled when you need to use it? You don't always have it set up, do you?

Need help in picking new turbo for wrx project?

If you have the money for it, something from the Garrett GT series would be your best option for power without lag. A GT28-RS would easily get you to about 300whp and possibly have a quicker spool than even the stock turbo, due to a more efficient compressor wheel design and full ball bearing CHRA. Blouch makes a version of this called the Dominator 0.5R "Disco Potato", it's a GT2860RS design. If I wasn't getting an STi instead of a regular WRX (which I might end up with for a temporary vehicle anyways)I would probably be looking at that turbo. I'll probably end up looking at the Blouch Dom 2.0 or 2.5 XT-R "Polka Pickle"

Is there a fungus on my fingertip?

On the pad of the tip of my right middle finger there is a patch of hard, peeling skin. It always looks a little wrinkled and is less sensitive to touch than my normal fingertips. When soaked in water, the skin doesn't wrinkle like my normal fingertips do, but the very tip of that finger (which isn't hard or peeling) wrinkles normally. It doesn't itch at all, but if I try to pick off the peeling skin I immediately hit the dermis so it hurts for a few days until the epidermis forms again. This has been this way for a few weeks. So far, it hasn't spread to any of my other fingertips and none of my family has complained about similar symptoms. Any clue as to what this is?

Intregra Type R DC2. Closet thing to a go kart. The WRX is less rigid its not a coupe. The intregra weights in at 1087kg. Same year WRX weights in at around 1250kg to 1400kg. WRX is based on a sedan. The intregra was made for sports driving. The WRX is quicker to 100k's by about 1.7secs just a note. You did say you dont care about which is quicker or faster.

Itchy bumps on body, Help me please..?

I am 20 yrs old female and about 4/6 weeks ago I begain having these tiny itchy some blister like bumps all over my body. They began around my arms and wrist. They spreaded to my stomach, armspits, thighs, feet, hands, breasts (particularly under breast), and back. The ones are my fingers and feet are small clusters of blisters while the ones on arms, stomach and back are red bumps varing in sizes. I am a clean person and shower everyday. I went to the doctor to see what it was. He didn't know but gave me cream, meds and a shot to treat fungi infections. Althought the most of the bumps disappeared, they are back. I also recently found out that my boyfriend, his roommate and his roommates girlfriend all have the bumps too. I have not eaten anything out of the norm. It is more noticeable at night/morning time (often waking me up). Can someone help me please?

I got my toenail removed from my big toe today and it hurts REALLY bad...?

I had a really bad fungus under my toenail and I had to get it removed. I can't put any kind of pressure on it, and even just sitting here it is throbbing. I still have the initial bandage on it that the nurse put on, and when I try to peel it off gently it feels like I'm ripping the skin right off. It hurts really bad. 2007 WRX TR OR 2011 STI?

I currently own a black 2007 WRX TR. I bought it new and the dealership added all of the Subaru Performance Tuning (SPT) parts before I purchased it. It has around 29,000 miles on it and has really been babied. My extended warranty runs out in December and I am considering buying either a 2011 WRX or a 2011 STI. I really don't know what the actual horsepower is on the TR after the SPT parts were added, but with the short throw shifter, it's pretty quick. Should I buy the 2011 WRX or the 2011 STI?

Old woman has been throwing rubber gloves in my garden? ?

my neighbours are causing problems, they dump rubber gloves in my garden and their wheel chair has damaged my plants. I've spoken to their mother who claims she wears them to wash her handicapped children who live there. I've asked her to stop but she denys it's her although i've seen her do this. She also said that there is carbon monoxide being detected in their house, and she covers up the gas outlets on the cooker with rubber gloves. What should I do? Common Goldfish from Festival?

Hi, I won a goldfish at the fair a week ago, I bought a bowl and food for it, and I boil water and let it cool to put in the bowl. The fish seemed rather lifeless and stayed at the bottom of the tank most of the time. He has black patches on his fins, he also had some on his scales, but that seems to have come off, taking the scales with it. I noticed he had a light patch on his tail and it looked like it was fin rot, It also looked like some of his fins were fraying around the edges. I bought 'Interpet fungus/fin rot 100ml' I put the designated amount in the tank and within a few hours my fish seemed more active and now swims round a lot more. The patch on his tale that went pale/clear-ish now has a grey/black tinge to the edge. What can I do ? I am continuing using the 'interpet' when i change the water. But what else can I do ?

Even though I would NEVER buy a Subaru for myself, I would recommend it with the 2 choices. I can not get over the very POOR reputation the Taurus has and it's VERY POOR resale value. They just sell way to many Taurus's to rental car companies giving them a real poor resale value. I know the new Taurus is much better car.

I doubt it that it will fit without mods. None of the STi parts fit regular Imprezas or WRXs. That includes body panels and other parts. Nothing really fits. It looks similar, but it doesn't fit.

I've already ruled out the evo, they're nice, but I like the Subies better. I'd be using it for an everyday driver, but I also have a "wild" side and no doubt would play around in it every chance I got. Basically what I'm asking is for your average driver not doing anything on a race track is the STI really worth the extra cash or would I be just as happy in the WRX? I want two pet rats really badly but...?

I currently have two dogs. Also, I've had a bunch of guinea pigs over the years but my last one just died about a week ago :'(. I asked my mom if I could get pet rats (we already have a suitable cage, toys, food bowl and water bottles...so we wouldn't need to buy anything) and she said I couldn't, even if I paid for everything :( When I asked why, she just said we're done with small, furry animals. Even if I wanted another guinea pig or a hedgehog, hamster, rabbit, ferret...she said she would still say no. But she won't tell me why. I've bee cleaning my house like crazy and being super nice to everyone and helping out and everything to try to convince her to say yes for a few days now (but I haven't told her why yet). The next time I ask her, I am going to set up a cage with stuffed animals with name tags (presumably my future pets) holding gift cards, a rat fact sheet, etc and there will be a flower in a pot in the cage, too. I will make the pot and plant the flowers. I will give all of this to her as a gift (aka bribery). How long should I wait to do this? Do you think it will work? What else can I do to get her to say yes?

Nail Fungus medication?

I'm 15 yrs old and I have been living with nail fungus for as long as I can remember...I haven't really tried anything for my nail fungus except vinegar but I stopped after a while...on my left foot I have 2 nails with fungus while on my right foot all 5 of my nails have fungus...I finally went to the doctor today and she said I will have to take oral medication...I have read about possible liver damage so I asked her and she said that it is possible that is why they are going to examine my blood to see if my liver is fine...I also asked her that if my liver is fine and I do take the medication them will I have issues after and she said no...then I asked her if there were any creams of the sort or brushes to apply to the nail and she said no that only the medication will work...what should I do? :(

ok i decided to cut my toe nail about a week or 2 ago and i accidentally clipped it bad.. pardon my language. then i started to hurt me a little becuz in the that little crease like part the nail was rubbing against the side of my toe. so i ask my bro to try to cut it to shape up with the other side but that was the worse dicision of my life he clipped it way down. so it started to hurt more. then my dad put some antifungal cream on it.. i dont have fungus on my toes!!!!. then he bathe it with hot salt water.. well the pain eased for a while now but now wen i look at it it kind look darkish blue or grey on tht particular part where the nail was clipped bad. so im kinda worryied is it bad.. can it cause from water going into it wen i bathe... will i lose my toe???. ilove this toe plz help

Jock itch!! HELP please!!!!?

I have had jock itch for around a month. I shower daily and have good hygiene for a 17 year old boy, but despite this I got jock itch. I have tried all lotrimin creams and sprays and take many different vitamins and supplements to boost my immune system. I have used tea tree oil, and powder a few times daily! I think I have cured it, but my groin is still a little sensitive and slightly pinkish. It doesn't itch or stink. I am wondering if I have cured my jockitch and the slight discoloration is an after effect? And if the slight sensitivity is due to the new skin which replaced the fungus? And if my groin is just used to the daily treatment of being pampered with powder, and needs to work it's way up to be tougher and less sensitive? Any help please!!!!!
