Subaru WRX or WRX STI?

I've already ruled out the evo, they're nice, but I like the Subies better. I'd be using it for an everyday driver, but I also have a "wild" side and no doubt would play around in it every chance I got. Basically what I'm asking is for your average driver not doing anything on a race track is the STI really worth the extra cash or would I be just as happy in the WRX? Keep in mind my current car is a toyota rav4 5 speed manual that goes 0-60 in an hour or two if you push it haha. Thanks.
