Can i fit a subaru impreza wrx sti engine into a vectra b 1.8 sri?

Punt the boxer and put in a c20let or c20xe. The engines are bullet proof and a have a lot of options for more power if wanted. Will still cost a lot but buttons and a lot less complex than putting in the sti engine.
