Audi S4 vs. Subaru WRX?

Im 16 years old and looking for a first car. I was looking for something that is not necessarily super fast but i still want something that can get up and go. So, i decided to take a look at the 2001 Audi s4 and the 2004 Subaru WRX. My question is, which one is better as far as reliability, performance, gas mileage and things like that. Also, if there are any other cars that are sporty go ahead and mention those to. Thanks for the input.
