Where to put this flower clip in my hair?

To part my hair, I sepreate it at the end (closest to my ear) of my right eye brow and comb everything into place. I bought a flower clip and I was wondering if I should stick t on the side with or without my part and how close or far away from my face should it be? Any advice would be great, thank you!
