How to celebrate Soldier's homecoming?

My boyfriend is comign home from Iraq how do I celebrate so he feels welcome home. What do you guys do at the welcome ceremony should i bring flowers ? This is my first deployment please give me ideas. Also how shoudl I decorate my home?
