Questions on 2005-2008 Subaru Impreza WRX?

I really want to buy a subaru wrx, but I need to get it with an automatic transmission with a max budget of 18,000. I found very little results on the internet but a few with around 80,000 miles on it. Based on this is it safe to buy a WRX with 50-80k miles on it? I want it to be extremely reliable and not worry about parts braking. I'm also wondering if anyone here that has owned one thinks about it in terms of performance and reliability because I love fast cars like this and this will be my first turbo engine.
